The story is based on a young girl named Kenana who is forced to marry Prince Jubal who is old enough to be her grandfather. But who is her real true love? You'd be surprised. I know I was. Just a wonderful book by a wonderful author. Verna Hargrove, part of a family of amazingly talented authors leaves us begging for a sequel."

It was a quick and gripping read, a real adventure, and without spoiling the ending I will say that there was a twist at the end! It is also a tale which would apply to any young woman at any time in history, who tries to stay true to herself. I recommend this book!"

Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech, and Noah, all make their appearance in this intriguing tale of the delightful and charming Queen Kenana of Adah. The Nephilum, half man, half angel, were virtually hidden within the pages of Genesis until now. This tale offers an explanation for what could have actually happened before the flood. It is a fantastic read. I could not put it down. The first book, Glorious Companion, was excellent, but Mesopotamian Maiden is Verna Hargrove's crowning achievement.
