About Me

Verna Hargrove grew up in rural America, traveling with her family across the Western states. The family moved from one small town to another while her father helped build bridges across many rivers.

She and John married at the age of eighteen in West Los Angeles, CA, and began their family two years later. Verna was a homemaker while John was a public school teacher. Their weekends were spent working in local churches. Verna worked as a reporter for two small newspapers in Fullerton while taking writing classes. After retirement, they watched a new home being built in Corona, where they both now write and relax.
